The park!

The Rettig Clan took advantage of the warm weather on NYE and we all headed to the local park. Sean had a blast and enjoyed having his "entourage" there to surround him and play with him. These are just a few of the great shots I got during our fun afternoon outside.

He had a blast trying to keep it away from Nana!
He also really liked climbing up the tubes.

Helping Nana with Apple Pie.

Sean loves to be a "helper". He will help you do just about anything. In these pictures he is helping his Nana peel the apples for the apple pie she made for Poppi's birthday. He was pretty proud of the pie that he "made".

Poppy, Sean, and the radio

We visited Auntie and Poppy at the radio station the day we left NC. Sean was a little shy at first but he warmed up the idea of speaking into the microphone. He also enjoyed Poppy's trucks in his office.

Snow Cool!

We took advantage of the 7 inches of snow that fell on Christmas Day in Greensboro, NC and ventured outside for some playtime in the snow! Sean love sledding and basically anything that involved rolling around in the snow!
He wasn't scared to go down the hill all alone!
Wheee!

A white Christmas!

For the first time, in a long time, we had a white Christmas! We didn't get a chance to go outside to play until after dinner so it was a bit late but still fun! Sean was having a blast!
Sean said, "I am the King of the Snow!"

We have big plans to go back outside tomorrow when there will be even more snow! We measured 3 inches at 9 pm when we came inside and there is more on the way tonight and tomorrow!

Christmas Day in NC (Christmas #2)

We have a unique family tradition at my parents house. We all wake up and come down stairs and open our stockings. We then all shower and get ready, and get dressed for breakfast. We have a big family breakfast and then open presents afterwards. It was a little hard when we were little but we didn't end up finishing opening the gifts until around noon so it spreads the day out a little more. Everyone enjoyed all their gifts, especially Sean who will now be "fixing" everything with his new tools.
