The POOL!

It was our first day at the pool for the summer. Last year, it took Sean quite a while to get used to the pool but today, he jumped right in! He even went down the pool's water slide (alone!) and went under the water several times by himself! It was a fun (and hot!) day!He got right in!

Memorial Weekend Cookout

We usually have a rather large cookout/party at our house for Memorial Day weekend but we opted out this year and just went to close friends house for dinner. Sean got to enjoy hanging out with his friends and even got to try driving!

Sean came down the stairs after getting dressed on Sunday to tell Dan....."I'm stylin" ha ha. You are right buddy, you are stylin'!!

Sean loves to play with his wooden blocks. Poppi and Sean made a tower that was taller than he is!

Maymont with Nana and Poppi

Dan, Sean, Nana, and Poppi took a trip to Maymont on Saturday and had fun petting the animals!

The claw. . .

Sean often pretends that his hand is a "claw" (like from the movie Toy Story 1-3). Anyway, the other night at dinner he was pretending to eat his dinner with his "claw" and when we asked him to eat some more he stopped halfway and said, "mommy, my claw is broken". I literally almost spit my food out because I laughed so hard. It was hilarious! What a funny little guy!

Sean is finally settled in his new room, with new furniture and a new bookshelf. He seems to love it so far!

Rain!

It has been a rainy couple of days but, lucky for Sean, he is well equipped! He dressed up in his rain gear and headed out in the rain today. He stays dry in style!

Sean's 3rd Birthday

Sean's 3rd birthday was a huge success! He started off the morning opening presents from Mommy and Daddy, then from 'Nama, Poppy, and Auntie and THEN from Nana and Poppy, Anne/Alison. Then, his friends all came over for a Lightning McQueen Birthday party. The weather was not great but the kids got to play outside for a good hour before the storm came through. We all had dinner and ate delicious cupcakes! At the end of the day, Sean said, "mommy, can it be my birthday again?" I guess he had a great one!

Touring the Garden

We took a tour around the garden to see what flowers were blooming. We hope Sean will love gardening one day too. So far he likes helping and helped us plant all of our annuals this year by using his wheel barrow to bring us the flowers we needed.

Big Boy Bed!

Sean recently moved into his new room and his new big boy bed. Sometimes he seems a little nervous about it at night but he has really transitioned very easily into his new bed and new room. The finishing touches are being made on his new room and then we'll post pictures. It turned out really well!Snoozing. . .
