We visited the children's museum with Nama, Poppy, and Auntie and Sean had a great time. It was a great museum with a lot for Sean to do!Sitting in the big chair!

Nama and Poppy's House

We ventured down to High Point for one last weekend get away. Now that I am getting close to my due date we wont be traveling anymore this summer. We had a fun day at the pool with Nama, Poppy, and Auntie. Sean loves playing at Nama's house because she has a lot of cool toys (that happened to be me and Jenn's when we were kids). We even went outside to catch some lightning bugs. It was a busy day!

Vacation Bible School

Sean attended Vacation Bible School at our church for the week. I was a teacher in his class so we got to spend the week together. He seemed to enjoyed the week and even learned a few things along the way.

We all have fully enjoyed our week with family at OBX this year. Sean has loved spending so much time with his family and of course loves all of the extra attention! It was a great week and we were all sad to leave!

We ventured down to the beach after a long hot day to see if we could spot some ghost crabs. It didn't take long before we found them everywhere. Sean could not be more excited about finding them with his flashlight. It might be his new favorite thing to do at the beach!

Dan has been surfing the past couple years at the beach and this year has done really well. He'll even brave the freezing cold water and jellyfish to catch a good ride!!

I didn't say he never wipes out! ha ha

Sean loves the sand and the beach but also loves his time swimming in the pool after coming back from the beach. He has gotten really brave and has become a great little swimmer! He just goes non stop when he is in the pool swimming from one person to the next!

Life is good at the beach!

Sean has thoroughly (along with his mommy and daddy!) been enjoying the beach this week. Who wouldn't enjoy 15 people at your beck and call to play with you all day long! He has really warmed up to the family and is going to be very sad to leave on Sunday. He is already asking "why" we have to leave. I told him that no one wants to leave the beach!

He already loves the sand quite a bit but this week there have been quite a few creatures on the beach for him to find. There are lots of tiny little jelly fish type things that don't have tentacles that you can pick up, there have been areas with hundreds of baby clams, we found a pufferfish that was still alive, sand crabs galore, and of course ghost crabs.
