Playtime with Gracyn

Sean gets very excited when he has a playdate with Gracyn. This time they were both being "Handy Manny" and carrying around their tools on their "tool belts". They get along well!

Playing on the deck

We've been taking advantage of the few days of warm weather we have had in March. Sean decided to bring some of his toys out onto the deck and play out there. He had quite a lot of fun!

Mr. Independant

Sean asked for some more juice yesterday afternoon and I told him that since we were about to eat dinner, he could just wait for dinner. (I really didn't want to get up and get it! ha ha). He comes back with his cup and asks me to open the top for him and so I did, figuring he would get some water out of the fridge bc he knows how to do that himself. Things got really quiet in the kitchen and I wondered what he was doing. He had 1. opened the fridge 2. gotten the OJ out of the fridge 3. opened the OJ 4. poured it into his sippy cup. All that and he didn't even spill....UNTIL he tried to put the top of the sippy cup on and it tipped the whole cup over. Oops! He was close!
Then this morning he was complaining about his big toenail and then wandered off. I heard him going up the stairs and so I asked him where he was going and he said to get the clippers. He went all the way upstairs, found the toenail clippers in the bathroom drawer, came back downstairs and handed them to me. Wow, he is making things easy around here! I guess he owes me anyway because he did wake up at 5:20 a.m. this morning. Yes friends, I said 5:20 am. Ugh. I think he was so excited about finishing the movie we started last night he couldn't go back to sleep. He did have to wait until after 6 am to come downstairs though. I am sure we'll both be taking a good nap later!

A sweet boy.

Sean saw me on the couch the other night not feeling so great. He came and laid down with me and starting rubbing my face with his hand. I asked him what he was doing and in the sweetest voice ever he said, "I am just loving you, mommy". It was so cute. I know it is hard for him with things being different at home. I hope I am feeling back to my normal self soon! What a cutie!
