Easter at Nana and Poppa's House

Carter was sick with a bad cough and slight fever so we weren't able to go to church as we would have liked. She did however, still wear her super cute Easter dress and we headed to Cville to be with Dan's family for the afternoon. It was a rainy Easter but still fun, nonetheless!
Time to look for another basket!

Sean's was under the bathroom sick...super hard!

Shake your Boooottaay!

Yes, you heard correctly. The benefit of having an older brother is you get to learn things that you shouldn't at such an early age. Ha ha

Fun Day with Daddy

Dan was lucky enough to spend the day home with Carter because her babysitter needed the day off. He took her to the children's museum and she had a blast! What a fun day!

Carter is 18 months!

Carter had a great check up with her Doctor. She continues to be super tall! She was 34 inches which is the 96% for height and she is 26 lbs which is 75% for weight. She is a big girl! The doctor was impressed with her vocabulary, well before she started screaming! Carter does not like to go to the Dr. which is different than Sean who loves it. She literally cries the majority of the time when we are in the room, from getting weighed, to measured, to checking ears, she hates it all!

She continues to be a huge goofball, especially at dinner and all three of us have a hard time not laughing at her antics to get attention each night. She is still a big eater and eats her weight in fruit each week, especially blueberries. Two nights ago after she ate all of her dinner she then proceeded to pick up the plate and start licking it. I've never seen a kid eat so much before!

She speaks in 3 word sentences most of the time and sometimes will string four words together. She definitely gets her point across very well! She loves to jump, on the ground, off the fireplace, off of steps. She acts like she has a spring in her feet sometimes and seems to have no fear! She actually can get quite high off of the ground.

She looks about the size of a 2 year old and is wearing all size 2 clothes so I guess that makes sense. She is growing fast!

Jumping Carter!

She loves to jump all over the place and especially off of the fire place ledge! She almost always lands on her feet!

Spring Snow!

So much for spring!! Winter is still here and you heard no complaints about a snow day from us! By Sunday afternoon the snow was piling up fast and since we missed our chance to play last time we suited up after dinner and headed outside to play. We even had enough snow to make a big snow man! We had a great snow day at home. Four more days and then spring break...lets hope for some warmer weather soon!

Sean is using his shovel to clear our sidewalk

Palm Sunday Children's Festival...brrr

Well despite the horribly cold weather which later turned into sleeting/snowy weather, we were able to have a great Palm Sunday. I didn't get many pictures because the egg hunt was super quick as it started sleeting. Carter and Sean found a few eggs each and we all raced to the car. Brrr....what a chilly day! Little did we know but the snow would be piling up later on. More pics to come!
 Having lunch after church
Sean was in the Palm processional at the start of the service
Carter loved the petting zoo especially the baby bunnies
So happy!

Easter Egg Hunt with neighborhood friends.

We had a get together with our neighborhood friends to celebrate Easter. They decorated bags, played games, listened to an Easter story, had snacks, and hunted for eggs. What fun!
