We love the mall!

When we have nothing else to do and the weather is a little cooler (which has been a lot this summer) we head to the outdoor mall to play, eat, throw pennies into the fountain, visit the coy pond, and the candy store! We always have fun!

OBX 2013

We visit the OBX every year with Dan's family and it is always a wonderful time. We get to see family members that we often don't get to see and spend a whole week in a huge house on the beach, eat great meals, play at the beach, swim, surf (dan), boogie board, build sandcastles, play games and lots more. Whew! The week goes by so fast every year and then we start looking forward to the next summer already!

Mountain Cabin Weekend-Summer Style

Since the parents of our close friends own a cabin up in teh mountains, we are lucky to have been invited quite a few times over the past few years. This was the first time that we visited Massanutten in the summer and it was a blast! We rode bikes, played outside, hiked, swam in the pool, saw a ton of deer, played games, watched movies and basically had non stop fun! What a weekend!
Sean preferred to ride his scooter. We went to this parking lot as it was the only flat surface

Children's Museum

It was another rainy day today so the pool was not an option. We decided to head to the children's museum to have some inside fun. It is big enough that we spent a good amount of time but small enough that Sean could run around on his own. By the end of the day he was helping the worker's straighten up the toys and clean up. Not sure why he doesn't do that at home, ha ha!

 Time for a Panera cookie!
