Sean has news!
Sean is excited to announce that he will be a big brother. You can probably correlate my lack of blogging efforts to the news. I haven't exactly been feeling my best and have been slacking on facebook and the blog. I hope I am going to be feeling better soon and will be back to my usual blogging self. Sean's little brother/sister is due on Sept. 6th. We are all excited!

Cabin weekend in the mountains
As I have blogged about in the past, our group of friends schedules an annual trip the mountains. The parents of our good friends have a rather large cabin overlooking the skip slopes at Massanutten and we luckily all fit (barely!). Last year, we had 10 adults and 6 children which seemed like a lot then. This year, we had 10 adults and 9 children! Yikes! We are getting close to being even or outnumbered! It sounds like it would be total chaos but the kids (of ages 4 and under) all seem to get along well and had a blast. I didn't get a lot of pictures of the rest of the weekend but I did get a few cute shots at the park. The weather was warm enough for some playtime outside. On the way there on Friday night Sean kept asking when we were going to get to the "castle". Guess he was a little confused!
All the "big" kids. Chase, Ryann, Scott, Riley, Sean, and Gracyn. The babies were at the cabin.

B-day party at Romp n Roll
Sean always enjoys himself when he gets to play at Romp n Roll. He is old enough now to understand all of the group time on the red carpet. He was a very good listener!Having fun!
He made sure to go get Gracyn when it was time to sit on the carpet together. He is always looking out for her!He enjoyed the parachute!

"I want to skype"
Whenever Sean sees us on the computer he often asks to "skype" with his family members. One night he surprised me by saying this, word for word, "Mommy, I would like to skype with Auntie on the puter" (computer) I said, "wow, ok" and so we called her up and skyped with her! He also asks to text people sometimes which I think is hilarious. So, I get it all set up and let him push some buttons and then he pushes send. I guess he is going to be tech savvy!
Poppy's birthday
We visited 'Nama, Poppy, and Auntie in NC for the weekend to celebrate Poppy's birthday. Sean always loves going to visit them because 'Nama spoils him excessively with lots of presents. Sean also wanted to help Poppy open his birthday presents. We always ask Sean, "who's special boy are you?" Usually he'll say, "mommy's" (thats right!) But ever since we visited NC he has been saying he is "auntie's special boy". Uh oh 'Nama looks like you have some competition!! The other night while skyping with 'Nama and Poppy they asked who's special boy he was and he said, "NNNNNN---Aunties!" He was just being silly and tried to throw 'Nama off! So funny!
