 Sean always has a blast with his buddies and their dads when they go camping with his cub scout den!

 The dads forgot the graham crackers, but they improvised and figured out a new way to make s'mores, which they called S'moreos!

Art Festival

Sean's Art Work was selected for his school's art festival and so we went out to check it out. We were quite in impressed. A picasso in the making!

Spring Carnival and K Registration

Well, its official. Carter is registered for Kindergarten. I have to say though, she is kind of in denial. When people ask her about going to school next year she acts like she isn't going. She wants to stay at Jack and Jill which is her preschool. She has, after all, been there for 4 years. It is home to her. I can understand why she loves it. The teachers all treat her like she is their own child. I know she'll do fine at "big kid" school as we call it. If how she behaves at the school functions is any indication at least. First of all, she isn't shy. Can you tell from the pictures? She also has tons of friends already! She runs around like she owns the place and she doesn't even go to that school yet. It looks like Sean is not having any fun at the carnival but he truly is, he just isn't being photographed doing so because he was off with his friends having fun and Carter was closer to me so I could snap a few pictures. I know she will do great in Kindergarten next year. I know it'll be hard to say bye to her old preschool but luckily it is close by and we can swing by to say hello to her teachers when she wants to. Plus, mom and dad get the biggest pay raise we've ever had. Yes, we are excited about that!!

Happy Easter!

 The kids woke up super early on Easter morning to find their baskets which gave them lots of time to eat candy before we went to church. After church we drove straight to Charlottesville to spend the day with Nana and Poppy, and family. It was a nice day! We drove home and had the realization that the end of break had come. Time for school....again....

More Spring Break Fun-Maymont

 The kids and their friends enjoyed a day of fun at Maymont Park. It was a beautiful day to be outside!

Spring Break Fun--Busch Gardens

 After a few days in the yard and some projects around the house we decided to head to Busch Gardens for the day. It was a beautiful day weather wise but it was unfortunately super crowded! Luckily, we got that super early and were able to ride the brand new ride first thing. And since we have passes the stuff we didn't want to wait in line for this time, we'll do next time!

Easter Egg hunt and Silly String

Time for the Easter Egg Hunt! They are off!

 They got silly string in their gift bags from Nama so they decided to give it a try! They had so much fun with it!
