Spring Carnival at Ridge.

Nana and Poppi came down to visit for the day and we all headed to my school's spring carnival. Sean especially enjoyed jumping in all of the bouncey houses and my playground. It was a nice day!

Easter Time (as Sean would call it!)

Sean has been asking when it will be "Easter time" for quite awhile now. He was very excited for the Easter Bunny to visit him. At first he got discouraged that he couldn't find his basket right away but it didn't take him too long. After breakfast we headed out to the backyard for an Easter Egg hunt and he had a blast! He has had some practice, if you see previous posts, so he was ready to collect all 26 eggs! Then, the fun part began, opening them up to see what was in them! After that him and 'Nama made rice krispie treat birds nests and we got started on decorating his new big boy room. We put up the curtains, got one piece of furniture in, and got his bed made. His room is coming together and looking great. Pics to follow when it is complete!

'Nama, Poppy, and Auntie were here for the weekend so we ventured down to the Metro Zoo, which is a local zoo we have in Richmond. It isn't a huge zoo but it has quite a lot of animals. It was a little chilly outside but still fun! Some pictures were taken by Auntie with her camera :o)

It's a...........GIRL!

Dan and I had the big 20 week ultra sound and Sean came along with us. He thought it was hilarious that the Dr. put "jelly on my belly" and then he waited patiently for the 45 minutes while the Dr. was checking everything out. All along we have been calling the baby a "he" because we both just felt it would be a boy so we were a little shocked when she said "girl". Sean has said all along that he thought he would have a baby sister and her name would be Tucker. Now, that is a lovely name and all but our very good friends named their son Tucker 6 months ago...so it wasn't really an option for our little girl. He has finally come around and realized that we are NOT naming the baby Tucker. We are close to what the name will be and will let everyone know when we decide for sure!

Dan and Sean went to the Richmond Flying Squirrels game together and had a great time. Sean got to eat a hot dog and ice cream and cheer for the squirrels. I think he looks so cute in his baseball hat!

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

We walked over to a neighbors house for our neighborhood Easter Egg hunt. There is a little girl that lives a few houses down that is Sean's age, so we all went over together. Sean really has the hang of the whole Easter Egg hunt! He got so many eggs and was so proud of himself. First he sat and listened to an Easter story. It was a fun day and we got to meet some other kids from around the neighborhood

Nana and Alison came down for the day to visit. We had a fun day of playing outside, dying Easter eggs and having lunch.

Fun times with friends!

We went to the local mall which sponsors events for kids, to visit the petting zoo and play with some friends today. Sean had a blast with Gracyn and Ryann. They visited the petting zoo, had some pizza for lunch, played at the play center, and got to ride the train. Whew, what a day of fun!
