Happy Thanksgiving!

 We enjoyed a wonderful thanksgiving at Dan's parents house. Don't mind Dan's creepy mustache. He is raising money for men's health through donations for his mustache. We have a lot to be thankful this year and we had a great dinner!

 We headed to Cville for the long weekend for Thanksgiving. We were very thankful to have a whole day off of school on the Wed before T-giving. We loved snuggling with baby RJ!

Carter loves school!

Carter is doing great in preschool. She no longer fusses or cries when I drop her off and is learning so much. She talks a lot of about her friends at school. Here are a few pictures that they sent me.

Sean's first Report Card

Sean is doing great in Kindergarten! His parent teacher conference went well and his report card is excellent! He is doing everything he should be doing in school. His reading and writing is just exploding and he often comes home and tells us about the things he learns at school. Lately, we heard about needs and wants and also how many pennies were in a nickel. He loves school so much that he would go on the weekends if we let him! I am so happy that he loves school and learning. I can tell he is like a little sponge right now and it makes us so proud of him!

A new cousin!

We just got home from the mountains and ended up driving right back where we came from to meet our precious new nephew. He was born early in the morning and we were able to visit that evening. Carter loved seeing the baby and wanted to hold him the entire time we were there. Sean liked holding him but wasn't as enamored with him as Carter was. We are so excited about a new member of the family!

 The kids got to ride their bikes/scooter a bit and Dan and Sean went on a hike. After that we had to end our super fun mountain weekend by heading home.

An Early Thanksgiving

 

Since we'll be with Dan's family for T-giving this year we decided to have a Bliss Family Thanksgiving this weekend. But first we did a family photo shoot. Jenn joined us at JMU (Go Dukes!) for a few family pictures and then the whole gang had the pictures at the house. It was a little chilly at JMU but who can beat that background! We enjoyed driving around and seeing all the new changes that have occurred since we attended. Before dinner we found a dancing game on the x box and of course all took turns playing. What a fun night!
