Building Museum and a different playground

 Before Anne headed into work we were able to squeeze in the building museum for a few hours. It is one of Elliott's favorite spots to play. They all enjoyed building with blocks of all sizes.

After Elliott's nap we walked to a different playground close to their house for some more outside fun.

Spring Break 2016

 Last year for spring break, we were at Disney World and moving into our new house. This year wasn't going to be near as exciting but we wanted to do something fun at least. So, we made a quick road trip up to DC to stay with Anne and Drew for a long weekend. Our first stop, the DC Zoo. We've been quite a few times recently but it is still a super fun day.

Easter Day--Touring DC

After opening Easter baskets and eating homemade sticky buns (and a lot of candy!) we went out on our own on Easter to visit the Cherry Blossoms and do some other touristy type stuff. We were able to visit a temporary exhibit called the Renwick. It was super cool with huge art installations that were as big as the room they were in. We also got to see the famous cherry blossoms and a few other of the favorite monuments.

It was a jammed packed Easter Day! Time for bed,

DC playground fun

 After some down time and a nap for Elliott we visited his favorite local playground for some afternoon fun!
