The kids got a basketball hoop for Christmas from us. Dan was excited to get it installed and the kids got to play a bit on a warmer day. I think it'll bring loads of family fun for years to come.

Christmas in NC
Yes, we are on to Christmas #3 officially. The kids are expert gift openers by now. They can hardly remember what they have already gotten at their first two Christmases. Tough life....we know.

Homemade gifts
As usual, we handed out our home made gifts the night before we celebrated Christmas in NC with my family. The gifts this year were impressive as usual! After gifts we played a new game that made us all laugh hysterically. No one would agree to be pictures except the kids! ha ha ha
Christmas Morning in RIchmond
It is Christmas morning! They look a little sleepy! We were up late last night, maybe that is why! Everyone is excited to come downstairs an open presents. After that, we'll have our usual Christmas morning breakfast. Daddy's famous french toast, yum! Then after we play with our new toys for a bit, we'll head down to NC to see Nama, Poppy, Auntie and Kevin.

Christmas Eve
Our first stop on Christmas Eve was Church. We were asked to light to advent candle during the service. The kids participated in a super fun story time with our pastor during church that got them up and moving during the service. After church, it is our tradition to eat dinner at Maggianos and then do a tacky light tour at some of our favorite spots. We ended the night by leaving out cookies for santa and Dan and I watched Christmas vacation after putting the kids to bed to wait for Santa's arrival.
In their defense, this was AFTER church was over. . . |
