End of swim season

Winter swimming has come to an end and what better way to celebrate but with a pool party. The kids had a free for all party in the pool and they had a blast. Luckily, Carter got to join in on the fun. The families came too and we had pizza and the kids swam and swam for hours. Everyone was exhausted by the end of the party. We've really enjoyed having Sean be a part of the YMCA swim team this winter and he has grown so much as a swimmer. We look forward to seeing him excel this summer at swim team for our outdoor pool as well. The countdown to summer is on!!

Beaty and The Beast!

We all went to see Beauty and the Beast together and we all enjoyed the movie. We also enjoyed the popcorn and candy as well! Carter got a few comments as she walked down the aisles to our seat also. Lots of, "awww, she is sooo cute!" :) 

Swim team Champs

 Sean did a great job at swim team Champs. He ended up taking first places in butterfly overall in the 7-8 age group! He was reluctant to swim that event because he doesn't enjoy it but certainly is good at it. He didn't place as high in his two other backstroke events but he got 3rd and 5th overall, which is still great. He had a great meet overall! We are very proud of him!

Sean decided to give winter swimming a try instead of soccer or other sports that he has done in the past. He has really enjoyed it and he has really improved a lot this fall/winter. A lot of his friends from school joined the team this season and that has made the swim meets a lot more fun for him. There is a fair amount of waiting at swim meetings but when you have lots of friends around it passes the time a lot faster. They have a lot of fun together in between swimming.
