Swim Team Banquet

The kids had a great swim season! Sean and Carter both earned enough points to earn a bronze level certificate and Carter earned the most points in her age group for the girls! She got a trophy! We really had a great season being a part of a the team. The kids have so much fun and I love seeing them improve each week.

OBX with The Rettig Family 2017

 Our annual Rettig vacation was a lot fun as usual, we were just missing a few family members, Anne/Drew, Elliott and the newest additions Katie and Quinn! They surely were missed but we still did have a lot of fun playing in the water, in the pool, playing games, hunting for ghost crabs and of course we did take some family pictures.

Swim Team 2017

Swim team takes a lot of time and commitment but the kids absolutely love it and it is so worth all the hours of practice and even worth the time that the parents have to work at the meets. The kids really had a great swim season this year. This one particular meet pictured below was soooo hot. That is why they are all crammed together, they are sharing the only shaded spot we could find! They always have so much fun together at the meets, playing cards and hanging out while they wait to swim. We had a great season as a team because we were undefeated! That hasn't had in a long time for us! Go Stingrays!!

Lickinghole Brewery

We tried out a new brewery with our good friends and their kids. The dads enjoyed the beer and the moms enjoyed hanging out and the kids enjoyed playing. We all enjoyed the free sunflowers that we got to pick and take home. Overall it was a win!

4th of July at SML

We were lucky to be able to spend the fourth of July at Smith Mountain Lake this year. It was a great couple of days with lots of boating, tubing, fireworks and eating gigantic pizzas! We love our time with the Babbs and we love SML!
