Whew...what a weekend!

Our weekend started and ended on a great note! Friday night, Sean and I attended a 3 year old friend's birthday party at monkey joes. I cannot believe I forgot my camera (in my defense we left straight from school that day) so I didn't get any good pics of Sean but he had an absolute blast, running, jumping, and playing for 2 solid hours. Saturday morning, a good friend and I got up to run the 8K as a part of the Richmond Marathon (8k=5 miles). I had a great time running and improved my time from last year. It was a nice way to start off my birthday weekend!

Saturday during the day we did some errands and hung around the house waiting for Poppy, 'Nama, and Auntie's arrival. Saturday night we headed downtown for the big celebration at a local bar. Sean stayed home with 'Nama and Poppy and took full advantage of being spoiled! The party that Dan threw me was a huge success and everyone that came had a great time!

As if my weekend wasn't good enough, we had a great day today as well. We got up and had a good breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then took some awesome family pictures with our favorite photographer, Jenn. It was a gorgeous day out and the changing leaves provided the best backdrop you could have asked for. Sean did so well and was so cooperative it was almost unbelievable what he would do for us! I know more pics are coming but here is a sneak peak of one of the pictures. What. a. weekend. It was by far the best birthday weekend that I have ever had! I am loving my 30's so far!
