We started the Elf on the shelf tradition this morning. Sean named his Elf "Silly" which is a part of the tradition, that the child names the Elf. Each night, Silly flies to the north pole to report to Santa and flies back home by morning. He hides in a different spot each day so Sean has to find him when he wakes up. Well, you would have thought that it was Christmas today with Sean's reaction. We read the story last night and he was so excited to come down the stairs to find Silly hiding on the mantel. What fun!
