Sean's 4th Birthday

I cannot believe it but our little Sean is 4 years old! How is that possible? I remember him just coming home from the hospital and now he is so big! He is such a loving, sweet guy. We are so proud of the little boy he is growing up to be. He has great manners and is a wonderful big brother. At the kid zone at the gym they always comment about how he is one of the only kids who keeps checking on his younger sibling in the baby room. He'll run over to the window to make sure Carter is ok. He is a great friend to others and loves to play! He still loves anything related to Cars or Cars 2 the movie. He knows most of his letters and sounds and has been working on sounding out some words. He loves to read. I often catch him awake 30 mins or so past when I put him to bed in his bed reading books by himself.

Since Dan had a baseball game we were not able to celebrate Sean's bday until 7:15 pm so we let him open one present first thing in the a.m, and then we brought another present with us to Red Robin, and then finally around 8:30 when we all got home he opened the rest. He enjoyed his dinner at Red Robin and his ice cream but he did not love the waiters singing to him. He looked kind of embarrassed and when I asked him why, he said, "that was weird" ha ha. We have a big birthday weekend to look forward to with his party at the Young Chef's Academy and his family get together on Sunday with family at the house. It should be a great weekend!
