So, as previously mentioned the kids are sick and so we could not do much for the fourth. We did venture to Red Robin (don't worry we didn't let them get close to anyone or anything!) for dinner. Carter had her own firework on the top of her head! The kids and us enjoyed our dinner, headed home, did baths, read stories, and they went to bed. The neighbors had their annual 4th of July party which we had to miss. We did enjoy the live band from our own back deck while the kids slept. It wasn't the more exciting 4th of July but we were together as a family and so it was ok :o)
Carter does not like getting her hair done...as you can see from this attempt at a pony tail!
