Our Bliss vacation this year was a trip to Rushford, NY, where my parents grew up, to spend the week at a lake house that they rented. It was a great idea and even the drive up there wasn't too bad and we made it in record time. The weather difference just a few states away is amazing. Each evening we ate dinner outside with a nice view of the lake. The house was pretty old school with no internet or cable so we enjoyed a time out from technology. The lake was a few steps away and we took advantage of being outside the whole week.
We arrived on Saturday afternoon and my grandparents and uncle stopped by for a visit. We ordered pizza and slept with the windows open!
