Bedtime

Starting at 7pm we do the same thing every night. It is very structured and we don't really veer from our routine. If we are out to dinner or have some other plans, of course we adjust but when we are home it is very predictable. It helps keep things sane with a 3 year old and 4 month old and for both of them to get to bed (clean!). So we start with Carter's bath, PJ's, read books, and bed. Sean is the same but just starts after Carter is done. Plus we throw in brushing teeth for him somewhere. Somehow it creates a nice peaceful bedtime transition where we are all happy. Too bad Mommy's bedtime is shortly after the kids! I took some pics along the way tonight.

Reading together, it is usually all three of us (Carter is asleep by now) reading together.

Then everyone is asleep! Usually by 8:30pm.
