We decided to take a mini vacation to Va Beach for a few days. I was able to find a reasonably priced ocean front hotel room for a couple nights. Unfortunately, the weather turned a bit more winter like than spring like. As soon as we got checked into our hotel room and settled we decided to head out to the beach to take a look around. It was a bit chilly and windy. We didn't make it too far before deciding to head in and go to the indoor pool instead. Sean was so brave and remembered how to swim from last summer. He jumped right in and had a blast. Carter was nervous at first about getting into the water but she warmed up a bit after a few minutes. Speaking of warm, the water was like a bathtub so I know Carter at least wasn't cold! She was definitely a little scared but enjoyed herself a little bit. After the pool we showered and headed to dinner at a super nice restaurant called Crocs. It was amazing and soo delicious. I had to take a picture of my dinner because it was THAT good! To top it off the waitress at this semi-nice restaurant commented that our kids were the most well behaved kids she had ever had there. A women leaving even came over to tell us how well mannered Sean was and how well behaved Carter was as well. Score! At least we know that our kids can make it through a nice dinner from time to time!
Jump!
The pool is awesome!
Carter's turn
Look at his hand...he is holding it there so Carter doesn't bump her head. What a sweetheart!
It looked like a spot light was shining down on Carter!
Sean and Mommy
I ate way too much but it was so worth it. Penne a la vodka with grilled chicken. All local/organic fresh vegetables only at this restaurant. Delicious!
