Well, I guess it wasn't technically the first day of spring break as we
had Good Friday off as well. Unexpectedly, the county gave us an extra
day off before spring break. That was a nice surprise email one morning!
Since Auntie came in on Saturday we've been planning to do our Follow
Your Bliss Photo shoot. Carter's pink eye kind of set us off schedule so
we ended up with today. Since no one also had pink eye we figured we'd
go for it despite the fact that Auntie was already super busy! We headed
down to Belle Isle which is a little island (pedestrian only) in the
James River. The only way to get there was a suspension bridge hanging
from the overpass. Lets just say it was a long walk, too windy, and too
bright to do any great pictures. My sis did get one great one of me and
Carter, though. We decided the park she was shooting at for the other
sessions was a great idea at this point so we headed home. Later we went
to Crump Park to do session part #2 and got some great pics! What a
day! We are all super tired! Thanks for the great session Auntie!!
