Va Aquarium

If you know me well, you know I love to go to aquariums and I've passed that onto Sean as well. There was no way we could come to VB and not drive the .5 mile down the road to the Va Aquarium. I lived here for years and never actually went, which is weird, I know. So, of course I was super excited to go today...as was Sean. We got there early so we were able to avoid the crowds. Since it was actually Carter's morning nap time we figured she crash in the stroller while we walked around. Nope! She was soo interested in everything at the aquarium that she stayed awake until after 11. Finally when we were walking back from the nature trail she dozed off for about 20 minutes. What a trooper! We didn't hear a peep out of her! It was a great experience. We got to see some marine life that we haven't seen at other aquariums like harbor seals in the seal tank, river otters, baby sea turtles, sand tiger sharks, and so much more! What a fun day! We are just loving our vacation here in Va Beach! We went to dinner down about a block from here on the boardwalk and enjoyed a view of the ocean from our table. I even saw a dolphin jump out of the water while we were eating.
Carter finds her strap in her stroller to be very entertaining
That is Sean and Dan peaking through to the Komodo Dragon
Carter was mesmerized by the large fish
She couldn't take her eyes off it!
She did her loud "OOOOOHHHH" noise
Big bro and lil sis watching the sharks
 The Fam
 Whoa!
 Fun!
Sean actually touched the horse shoe crab
Walking the nature trail to the next building
Checking out the river otter
A great end to a great day!
